Realm helps homeowners build or renovate with expert guidance, reliable contractors, and customized plans.
Project background
Realm recognized that their previous branding and website were hindering their ability to appear trustworthy to homeowners considering major build and renovation projects. While they postponed updating their logo, they understood the importance of establishing a unified color palette, typography, and a new set of illustrations. Additionally, we created an engaging animation to feature on their homepage, showcasing a renovation in action as the main visual element.
Visual identity
Color palette and type system
Realm had previously invested in a color palette that they weren’t sure how to use and didn’t seem to fully align with their mission, vision, or needs. We audited their new color palette, made tweaks through workshops and conversations with their CEO/Founder and Head of Marketing. Along with the color palette, we determined a friendly sans-serif that reflected their modern approach to home improvement.
Illustration system and package
We created an illustration system and packaged it, inspired by isometric blueprints but with a friendly twist in their appearance.
Website design
Hasa Casa conducted a comprehensive audit of the Realm website to identify which pages needed a complete overhaul and which ones could be retired. We focused on the four most important pages and developed a component system to assist their small development team.
Animation
Hasa Casa partnered with the animation studio Good Secrets to create an exciting animation that showcases a living room and kitchen from start to finish.
