Luciq

Luciq is an AI-powered mobile observability platform that watches app performance, flags what’s breaking, and helps teams fix it.

Project background

Luciq walked in with two problems stacked on top of each other. The name — Instabug — was coined back when Instagram still felt fresh, which by now reads less “scrappy startup” and more “app you forgot to delete.” And the business itself was turning: from solving one developer’s one bug to helping enterprise technical leaders fix everything about how their app performs. That’s not a tweak, that’s a full rebrand, name included. We landed on Luciq, then rebuilt the visual identity to match — real research, real strategy, no shortcuts.

Visual identity

We were designing for the enterprise leader, but we didn’t want to lose the individual developer who’d been with Luciq from day one. So we built a brand that knows when to be serious and when to have a little fun — you can see it in the electrifying color palette playing against more editorial type choices.

Luciq’s design team needed a component system simple enough that any teammate could pick it up without slowing down. We built that — and still carved out room for the bespoke, custom moments that make a site feel designed, not assembled.
